Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms and to the risk disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What the service is

TradePilot is software for tracking a paper-trading account, turning strategy documents into structured rules, generating AI signals and optionally executing simulated orders. It is a tool, not a financial service, and it does not hold your money.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful, including market manipulation or insider trading;
• upload content you do not have the rights to, or content that is confidential to others;
• attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• resell, redistribute or present the output as licensed financial advice.

5. Third-party services

The app relies on third parties for brokerage/market data and AI processing. Their availability, accuracy and terms are outside our control, and your use of connected broker accounts is governed by that broker's own agreement with you. We are not responsible for third-party outages, data errors or account actions.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the strategy documents and data you upload. You grant us the limited right to store and process them solely to operate the service for you, including sending relevant content to our AI provider to produce the output you requested.

7. No advice, no guarantees

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in the app is investment advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TradePilot and its operators, contributors and suppliers are not liable for any trading or investment losses, loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or related to the service, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or EUR 100.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud, intent or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages and costs arising from your use of the service, your trading decisions, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if operating the service is no longer feasible.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version. The date at the top shows the latest revision.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence. Questions: support@tradepilot.app.
